Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you (the merchant) and Luxi Horizon SNC, the Swiss company that operates the LiveProfit service. By installing or using LiveProfit, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

LiveProfit is a Shopify app that reads your store data and, when you connect them, your Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads accounts, in order to compute and display your net profit. The connections to ad platforms are read-only. LiveProfit does not create, modify, pause, or delete anything in your ad accounts. See our Privacy Policy for what data we process and why.

2. Account & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. One account is bound to one Shopify shop. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account. You may not attempt to access another shop's data through LiveProfit or share your access with third parties who are not authorized users of your shop.

3. Subscription, billing, and refunds

LiveProfit is billed exclusively through Shopify Billing. You will not be asked for card details anywhere else. The subscription tier, price, and free-trial length are shown to you in Shopify's approval dialog before you accept the charge.

• Free trial. A free trial is available at the length shown at the time of install. During the trial, you may cancel at any time without being charged.
• Billing cycle. After the trial, the subscription renews monthly on the day you accepted the charge, at the price then in effect.
• Upgrade / downgrade. You may switch tiers at any time. Shopify prorates the change.
• Cancellation. Cancelling means uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. On uninstall, Shopify stops future charges. Access to the app ends at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds. Because billing runs through Shopify, refund requests are subject to Shopify's billing terms. We will consider prorated refunds on a case-by-case basis when contacted at support@liveprofit.io within 14 days of the disputed charge.

4. Critical disclaimer — not accounting or financial advice

This clause is a fundamental part of the agreement. If you don't accept it, do not install or use LiveProfit.

5. Warranties

LiveProfit is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

We target high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime. Third-party services we depend on (Shopify, Meta, TikTok, Google, our hosting provider) may experience outages that affect LiveProfit. We are not responsible for third-party outages.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you under or in connection with these terms is capped at the total amount you have paid to us for the LiveProfit subscription during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have paid nothing (for example, during the trial), our aggregate liability is capped at 100 CHF.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under Swiss law (for example, liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct).

7. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• Use LiveProfit for a shop you do not own or are not authorized to manage.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of LiveProfit.
• Resell, sublicense, or expose LiveProfit as a paid or unpaid service to third parties.
• Attempt to access other merchants' data, or bypass authentication, rate limits, or security controls.
• Use LiveProfit to violate any applicable law, or the terms of the platforms LiveProfit integrates with (Shopify, Meta, TikTok, Google).
• Send us content or requests that are unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing.

Violation of these rules is grounds for immediate suspension or termination of your access, at our discretion, without refund.

8. Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in LiveProfit — including the software, dashboards, brand, and documentation — are owned by Luxi Horizon SNC. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you. You retain full ownership of your shop data and everything you input into LiveProfit; we act as a processor with respect to that data.

9. Termination

You may terminate at any time by uninstalling LiveProfit from your Shopify admin. We may terminate or suspend your access if you materially breach these terms, or if a payment fails, or if required by law. On termination, we stop billing and initiate the data-deletion process described in our Privacy Policy (48-hour purge + backup rotation).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be notified by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance. If you disagree with the new terms, uninstall the app before the effective date.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms is Neuchâtel, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory venue provisions that protect consumers under applicable law.
